Just an FYI, I may earn some cash or coins from the companies mentioned in this post. Rest assured, that doesn't sway my opinions and I only recommend using products that I've used and loved!

Breastfeeding Myths Busted - FYI #4 Is Crazy! Click To Tweet

I’ve always been an advocate for breastfeeding if you’re able. I say if you’re able because I know that sometimes it’s not always possible for a myriad of reason and I get that. But, if you can, YOU SHOULD.

There’s a stigma around breastfeeding (especially among women of color) and I wanted to ease your mind if you’ve been thinking about it and need a little push in the breastfeeding direction.

I had the opportunity to write a guest post for the Major League Mommy Blog and the breastfeeding myths busted are just too good not to share here, too!

Hey Ya'll! I'm a mom of four very energetic kids. My day revolves around balancing a work at home job, managing a business with my husband AND a blog meant to inspire moms to slay their goals! When I'm not super mommin' , I love to sip a margarita and gab on the phone with my two business besties.

Great post! I’d have for women to choose not to breastfeed based on inaccurate information. It’s easy to focus on the negatives and lose sight of all the positives, like the unforgettable, special bonding time breastfeeding allows between Mama and Baby.

Great post I’m 11 months in breastfeeding and to be honest I was so scared of the pain that I was told I would experience I didn’t have any pain. Breastfeeding for me has been super easy and rewarding. I’m a first-time momma so when I have my next baby I do plan on breastfeeding as well.

Thank you so much for posting, from one woman of colour advocating breastfeeding to another. The biggest lie we are told as parents is how we feed our children doesn’t matter.
