I get a ton of questions in Facebook groups and via email inquiring about what plugins, themes, and resources I use or recommend. To help everybody out just a little bit more, I’ve decided to just throw it all on a page. I’ll be sure to update it frequently. Of course, if you have any questions about any of the tools or resources I use (or have used) feel free to contact me!
I LOVE SITEGROUND for hosting my site. Point. Blank. Period.
I started my blog as a WordPress.com site and thankfully realized about three weeks in that I needed to self-host to do the most! I got a speedy refund from WordPress (bless their heart) and Siteground had me set up and transferred my site for me in less than 48 hours. They have almost no downtime (I’ve never had a site outage!) and their customer service is superb! I’ve never had a problem that wasn’t able to be solved with their speedy live chat.
Free themes are great but I love the extra features with my paid theme. For $49 bucks I got everything I was looking for in a theme. A fully customizable home page with slider options, color customization, awesome page layouts, built in ad space, built in widgets…it’s too much to list.
In a world where it seems everyone swears by ConvertKit, I have decided to use MailerLite’s Forever Free plan. I’ve been happy with the ease of use and even more so with the ability to create beautiful landing pages for free!
Pinterest is one of my top referrers to my blog. It grows every day with very little effort. I learned how to do that with Pinterest Unpuzzled. A short, sweet, to the point course with action steps you can implement from Day 1 was all I needed to kickstart my successful Pinterest journey. Learn how to wield the power of Pinterest to increase your blog traffic, grow your email list and get your content in front of your true target audience.
Pinterest was a huge game changer for me and most of that is because I took the Pinterest Unpuzzled course by Eden Fried and I use Board Booster to pin for me automagically so I don’t have too.
